I meant what I said, and I said what I meant...

...an Elephant's faithful 100%!

You may remember that line from "Horton Hears a Who", but did you also know that it's in another Horton book by Dr. Seuss? Sam brought this home from the library at school today:
I had never read it before, but it's my new favorite Dr. Seuss. (Second favorite is Dr. Seuss ABC, and third is Fox in Socks). The poetry is about the funniest I've read by him, but the best part is the message. All of my friends and family who have been touched by adoption or foster care... you will love this book. It's a great message about what it really means to be a parent. It's a must-read for everyone. I wish I could read it to you right now!!

I love that book--and I never looked at it quite that way before, but your point is so true! Dr. Seuss's ABC was Harrison's favorite first book and I read it to him so many times that I had it all memorized. Big Z, little z, what begins with z? A zither-zazzer-zuzz, as you can plainly see!

This is actually my 2nd favorite Dr. Seuss book. My favorite is, "Oh the Places You'll Go." I'm a big fan of all of them though!

How funny, Tamara, I have ABC memorized too! It was Ben's favorite.

Nice review. I'm a big fan of the story of the Star Bellied Sneeches. I also like the title of another Seuss book, "Did I ever tell you how lucky you are?" We are all lucky in more ways than we realize.
